Yorang is a fox who lives in heaven and holds important responsibilities, yet he prefers to play pranks and enjoy himself. When heaven holds a festival to celebrate the completion of the “Book of Wishes”, a prestigious work that can lift the seal on the black fox, Yorang, being mischievous, tosses the valuable book away. The loss endangers heaven, as the black fox’s dark magic threatens to unleash havoc. Feeling responsible, Yorang searches for the book and encounters a boy named Kang‑hyun. Kang‑hyun, who lost his mother at a young age and moved from Seoul to the Fox Village with his father, joins Yorang in the quest. Together they try to recover the book, but the black fox attempts to thwart their plans, and they face various challenges along the way.
