Set in Universal Century 0123, Mobile Suit Gundam F91 is Yoshiyuki Tomino’s attempt to launch a fresh Gundam saga thirty years after Char’s Counterattack. The narrative follows Seabook Arno, a teenage space colonist, and his friend Cecily Fairchild as they confront the ambitions of the Crossbone Vanguard militia, led by Cecily’s grandfather Meitzer Ronah, who seeks to establish the aristocratic regime known as Cosmo Babylonia. As customary in the Gundam series, circumstances compel the civilian Seabook to become the pilot of the F91 Gundam, a weapon whose design partially originated from his estranged mother, Dr. Monica Arno.
