Mon Mon, a small water spider, is a short film shown exclusively at the Ghibli Museum in Mitaka. Every day he swims back and forth to the surface of a swamp, seeking bubbles of air. One day he encounters a water strider that glides effortlessly across the water. Enamored, Mon Mon becomes obsessed with the strider, and at night he wonders whether his affection might be reciprocated.
