Monkey Turn, adapted from Kawai Katsutoshi’s manga serialized in Weekly Shōnen Sunday, follows the world of professional speed‑boat racing. The story centers on Tadano Kenji, a young athlete whose height prevents him from pursuing a career in professional baseball. His baseball coach suggests he try boat racing instead. While visiting his former girlfriend, Tadano encounters an unexpected challenge: in exchange for her loyalty, he vows to become Japan’s top racer within three years.
