Batsugoro owned a grocery store called Yaobatsu. While trying to retrieve a balloon that had become stuck on a branch for a child, he fell and died. His son Ataro took over the shop, but Batsugoro, now a ghost, remained worried about his son. Ataro managed the store alone until Dekoppachi, a loyal patron, offered his help. Together with other quirky characters such as Nyarome and Butamatsu, they weave a heart‑warming tale.
