Above the city of Hakata, fighter planes streak across the sky while bombers release a relentless barrage of bombs over the Fukuoka Dome, turning the air into a sea of flames. Amid this chaos, a sudden bright light appears and, in a hail of missiles, intercepts enemy aircraft with its energy cannon, another incarnation of the “Ultimate Weapon.” Meanwhile, Chise, forced into a weapon against her will, laments her circumstances and ponders Shuji. Despite her turmoil, the army continues to deploy her to the front lines. This OVA explores whether the new ultimate weapon is foe or ally, revealing a truth that the TV series did not address.
