Description
In the year A.D. 2307, Earth’s fossil fuels have been completely depleted, forcing humanity to turn to solar energy. Three orbital elevators, each equipped with solar power generation systems, are built and controlled by the Union (formerly the United States of America), the Human Reformist Alliance (Russia, China, and India), and the AEU (Europe). Because not all countries can benefit from these systems, widespread resentment and conflict erupt. From this turmoil emerges the enigmatic non‑profit military organization Celestial Being, dedicated to ending all warfare by deploying Mobile Suits known as Gundam. The series follows the Gundam Meisters, pilots, starting with Setsuna F. Soichi as they confront the challenges of this new era.
