The short film, presented at the Ghibli Museum in Mitaka and Ghibli Park in Nagakute, follows a whimsical tale set to Joe Hisaishi’s arrangement of Antonio Vivaldi’s *La Folia*. Deep within a forest of briers and brambles, a solitary water mill houses the witch Baba Yaga, who keeps her captive servant, the Egg Princess, in a tiny egg form, forcing her to perform the mill’s grueling daily chores. One night, a large batch of kneaded dough in a trough, enchanted by the witch’s spell, comes to life. Terrified of Baba Yaga, the Egg Princess and her new dough friend decide to escape. What adventures await them?
