Hideaki Anno

Hideaki Anno (庵野 秀明, Anno Hideaki; born May 22, 1960) is a highly influential Japanese animator, filmmaker, actor, producer, and voice actor. He is best known as the creator of the Evangelion franchise, a groundbreaking series that redefined the mecha genre and left a lasting mark on both the anime industry and Japanese popular culture.
