Akai Shouzou: Char, Soshite Frontal e is a recap of *Mobile Suit Gundam*, *Zeta Gundam*, *ZZ Gundam*, and *Char’s Counterattack* as experienced by Char Aznable, and it also serves as a precursor to *Gundam Unicorn*. The original event was a live public recitation performed by Char’s voice actor, with simultaneous screenings of the anime. In the DVD version, the recitation fades in and out with footage from the series, alternating between narration and animation.
