Long ago, on the island of Altomare, an elderly couple lived peacefully. One day they found two wounded children on the shore. The couple cared for the children, who quickly recovered. Soon after, the island was besieged by monsters, and the attack turned the island into a battlefield. In the midst of the chaos, the children the couple had tended transformed into the legendary Eon Pokémon Latios and Latias. The Pokémon called for help from their family in the sky. When the family arrived, they brought a stone that contained the power to repel the monsters. This gem, known as the Soul Dew, restored peace to Altomare.
